Regina, Saskatchewan is one of Canada’s fastest growing major cities and the 16th largest city. It provides residents with a high quality of life and strong economy.

$400,000 – $500,000 price range

Arcola East (average price $495,906)

Arcola East is the largest neighbourhood in Regina and hosts three man-made lakes, parks, and walkways. It is divided into northern and southern sections and has a diverse range of homes to suit different styles and tastes.

The northern side of Arcola East has access to lots of shops and services and the Victoria Square Mall. The southern side is a newer residential area, surrounded by the natural Wascana Creek floodplain.

There are eight public schools in Arcola East, providing parents with plenty of choice when it comes to their children’s education.

Whitmore Park (highest price $455,000)

Families are the largest group of residents in Whitmore Park, largely because of its active community area.

You can find everything from coffee shops, gift stores, sporting goods stores, to health care and a wide selection of restaurants in Southland Mall nearby.

Coronation Park (highest price $400,000)

Harbour Landing (highest price $509,000)

This neighbourhood has an impressive 120 acres of park, so you’re never a few steps away from a park or pathway. There are plenty of activities for families to get involved in throughout both the summer and winter months. There are also a variety of commercial centres in proximity to Harbour Landing, supplying groceries, pharmacy needs and sporting equipment. Pick from a selection of family restaurants before taking a stroll back home along the tree-lined boulevards.

There are two schools situated on site for parents to consider sending their children to.

Rosemont-Mount Royal (prices range from $149k – $700k+)

Rosemont-Mount Royal provides a quiet, calm environment for families who like to spend time outdoors. This part of Regina is wonderful for those who want peaceful surroundings, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.

Al Ritchie provides families with a slower-paced way of living compared to other neighbourhoods.

Day care centres and schools are within a short walk away from the residential area. Cafés, shops, and restaurants are also reachable on foot.

$600,000 – $700,000 price range

Skyview (average price $700k+)

Skyview sits to the north-west of Regina and provides families with larger homes than may be found in other parts of Regina. Architectural controls are in place for this community, giving homeowners an opportunity to express their individual tastes while creating a distinctive neighbourhood with huge curb appeal.

The walking paths, two parks and miles of prairie landscape that surrounds Skyview make it a beautiful place to live and raise a family. Shops and other amenities can be found close by in north-west Regina.

Skyview is within proximity to elementary and high schools.

The Crescents (highest price $700k+)

The Crescents is popular with families because of its location near downtown and the Wascana Centre (a large urban park).

This area of Regina has a prestigious reputation and a family-friendly feel. The Crescents is a residential area, but residents can use the shops, restaurants, and other amenities in neighbouring Cathedral Village.

The Crescents has one elementary school, but a high school may be several years away.

Maple Ridge (average price)

This popular quiet Regina neighbourhood is appealing to families as it’s based near shops, restaurants, and amenities along the Rochdale Boulevard.

Maple Ridge is surrounded by prairie landscapes, giving residents plenty of opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fresh air.

There is an excellent selection of elementary schools in Maple Ridge, including public, Catholic, and French immersion.
